| Daniel Pelosi, the key figure in the Pelosi murder case, is the perfect example of a
man who let his greed of money and impatience get the better of him.
In the Pelosi murder case, Daniel Pelosi was charged with the murder of Ted Ammon, husband of the woman Pelosi was having a relationship with. After an eight week trial Pelosi was found guilty of murder and received a sentence of twenty-five years to life in a federal prison.
Even though Pelosi was convicted in a relatively short eight week trial and given the fact he was a prime suspect from the beginning, one would wonder why it took police two and a half years to make an arrest in the Pelosi murder case. It must be noted that Ammon's wife Generosa was also a suspect at first. They were going through a messy divorce. It was just days before the divorce papers were to be signed, that the murder took place. It was reported that Pelosi was unhappy with the settlement his girlfriend was about
to receive from the divorce proceedings.
Investigators claimed, Generosa would inherit her husbands entire fortune regardless of what was agreed to in the divorce agreement. Pelosi, an electrician, who had a lengthy rap sheet, mostly for drunk driving, stealing electricity, and assault, was about to become high class.
Generosa and Daniel Pelosi were married just a few months later. In that same year Generosa learned she was dying from breast cancer. During the same month that Pelosi
signed a two million dollar postnuptial agreement, Generosa moved out of Pelosi's home. One year later Generosa dies of cancer. In her will, she leaves the bulk of her one hundred million dollar estate to her two adopted children. Daniel Pelosi isn't mentioned in the will.
Ironically, Pelosi spent most of his money in vain, on his defence in the Pelosi murder case.
The prosecutor in the case said,” stupid people do stupid things, that's how they get caught”. I would like to add greedy people also do stupid things.
