| Even though we as a society are bombarded nightly by news of vicious murder trials, such as the Laci Peterson murder trial in Modesto, CA., or the Eric Ferrier murder trial twin falls Idaho 2 nd degree murder , in the last few years there have been many murders that have taken place as a result of a crime gone wrong, all over the world. One such case that is particularly disturbing is the Carrie Martin murder trial . Born in Kingston , June 11, 1983 , Carrie Lynn Martin graduated from West Side Vocational Technical High School in Pringle. Carrie studied hair design at the Academy of Creative Hair Design in Kingston .
As well as her academic achievements and goals, she was also an active member in various activities such as draft horse driving; she was a County Fall Fair Queen and a volunteer for the Special Olympics. Unfortunately, a terrible tragedy hit this all-American girl in late May of 2004.
The Carrie Martin murder trial case begins on May 28 th , early in the morning; two men entered Carrie Lynn Martin's residence, allegedly with burglary intentions, and were surprised instead by Martin, who was home that night. They stabbed her repeatedly and left her to die. At 2:30am her body was found by police. A few days later, two men were arrested in the case and charged with second degree murder, as was also the case with the Eric Ferrier murder trial Twin Falls Idaho 2 nd degree murder charges as well. While waiting for the Carrie Martin murder trial to begin, one of the men committed suicide. The other was found guilty and was given a life sentence for the heinous crime.
This case, among many others, shows how easily a robbery can turn deadly. What if Carrie hadn't been home that night? This story would have a much different ending. The brutality of the attack signified just how violent the attacker is and can be, and you can be sure that there are many other such persons living right in the same city as most of us. If anything can be learned from cases like the Carrie Martin murder trial and the Eric Ferrier murder trial Twin Falls Idaho 2 nd degree murder , it is that you should always make sure your windows and doors are all closed and locked…..all the time.
